Use of Technology in Agriculture

When people ask, why you choosed Agricultural Department? I honestly reply that I have a rural background and have knowledge about it. And above all I had no option left.  "The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings." Agriculture is the sector which contributes nearly 18% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and about 40% to the total Net Domestic Product (NDP). One of the most important sectors in the world.  India is a country where Rice and Wheat are the main food. Most people are also engaged in this primary sector. Every year this sector faces loss and every year number of farmers commit suicide. In countries like China,USA and Brazil the makes a huge profit and stands in the top.  Indian way of agriculture is still traditional and less scientific methods used. There has to be a lot of improvement, education and technical support for upbringing this great sector. Though Indian government makes sch

Whitener

"I wish I could erase the past But life got no whiteners so I put black  curtains Which will never disappoint me." This is one of the most essential components without which our studies are incomplete. And the only components with which we correct our mistakes without a cut line on our copies. It is actually a opaque chemical fluid used to cover the wrong ink on a paper. Everytime we make a mistake we cover it with whitener.  I often think, what if we can invent a life Lifener or a whitener for life which will erase our mistakes unlike a time machine. Mistakes are a part of our life. We learn from mistake but we can never stop doing a mistake.  And every mistakes makes an impact or gives a reaction because every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  It is a very small thing but matters a lot. The same way we also need whiteners in our life in order to make our life happier. But there only one problem. In a page we use whiteners to hide the ink and after use of it we do

World of Terrorism in India

"Let them fly sir, let them fulfill their last wish. Alpha ready to capture point 5, Devils are standby."  "Permission denied. Wait for the command. ATC support granted for cover and GPS. COPIED". PM entered the control room. DG military operations was asked to contact the CO. And PM switched on his mic. "Commander sahab, kiya apko varosa hai aap anjam de payenge ?" And the Major SF replied  "Sir we were never taught to step back and reply with No. When I will shoot the last culprit, you will be the first one to know sir." PM replied "Desh ki ummid aab bas aap par hai, Jai Hind." And he signed the execution papers.  When the IB, central intelligence lacked to give strong input and RAW failed to intercept satellite signals then the Lashkar-E-Toiba which is a Pakistan operated terrorist group and funded through Internet Service Intelligence executed the case of 26/11 in 2008 in one of the historical and famous hotel of Mumbai, the Hotel T

The White Hat Hackers

" The Quite You Become,  The More You Able To Hear" -----Kali Linux    Most of the people define hacking as the process of gaining unauthorised access to a computer or network. Once this access is established, the hackers uses the attacked system to steal information or hack others system. "Hacking " had no negative connections like it does today , because people who hacked were actually seen as "practical jockers". They did not want to cause serious damage when hijacking computer systems like hackers nowadays. But  were more curious about the intricate details of a computing systems or were simply retaliating  against jokes promoted by their rivals. No computer is "hackers proof " because someone devdeveloped those systems,  so that person who created them knows how to bypass anything in the system.  Hollywood/ Bollywood has almost made the hackers seem popular in a sense,  portrayed as heroes in movies like the "Matrii, Sword Fish, Whit

A Drop of Rain

Many things can change a person's life. An accident, beautiful places, loved persons and for me even a drop of rain water. I believe, every drop of water that falls on ground saves life maybe of a tree, a cute animal or hopes of many lives. People say when God cries then only it rains. And I believe when we are sad then its a way to get back our forgotten smile.  I often love to dance, travel and sing in rain. It is one of the most beautiful moments of can ever enjoy. It cannot be compared with any other feelings. Its just an another emotion someone can connect himself with the nature. Rain means hope and hope means everything. Rain drops are like Pearl when it remains on top a grass or at the end of a leaf. I always want to know why it rains ? Yes its rains because we need rain or water. But without asking almighty for it or without any action how nature knows that we need rain. I always wonder. I sometimes imagine at night under the sky, what if all the rain drops keep hanging

When Sky Meets Ocean

People sometimes comment the defence officers and soldiers as like stone hearted person. Because they are trained to only follow and give commands. The view point for and officer is obviously different from a normal person. That is why for common people he might be stone hearted. There are three defence services in India, Army, Navy and the Air Force. And in every services there are men as well as women serving as an officer equally.  When I joined the Navy as a Lieutenant she joined the Air Force as a Flying Lieutenant. We both met each other in the RDC 2019. She was the second commander and I was the Lieutenant Commander of my contingent respectively.  We were at practice in Rajpath. Someone shouted "stop stop". Since I was by the side of the commander I heard her voice and looked back. She said "Stop the contingent, a temporary drain ahead". The moment i looked back i saw her with a Walky Talky in her left and showing stop sign by her right hand. Two stripes in h

Xavier : @pakalupapitow

“I’m Xavier from your own planet, Earth. I do work in a gas station & I also don’t know where it is located but surely on Earth. And sadly I’m a married man." In this materialistic world we hardly get time to crack jokes and laugh. Most of the time we are busy in social network and we learned to laugh in the posts called memes.  We think it is very easy to make someone's meme or to create funny post but when we try to create by our own, we see that only 30% of our friend followers list likes our meme or joke. Most of the time we take funny pictures of our friends and upload it with few tag lines and we feel much like joke or meme. Yes it is meme but it may hurt someone and his reputation, respect etc. Again sometimes we write funny about some topics though neutrally but again it may hurt that particular thing our that community. Actually that is not a joke or meme which hurts someone's or something heart.  A meme should be such that which is true, acceptable and make

14th February: A Pink Day

Love is the purest feeling in this world.  It makes everyday sparkle, Every moment, each second.   But what if love marriage is not allowed? What if Love is illegal ? You won't believe but you have to trust, because history speaks about it. There are about three stories on it. Most people trust only the first one and researchers found it truth. Anyhow, we wish everyone a very Happy Valentines day on 14th of February every year. Evey couple wait to get the first surprise from loved ones. Every single waits to get a reply back from their crushes. We take a lot of pictures, create lot of graphics and also share on that special occasion. But do we actually know why this day is celebrated ?  Once upon a time when love existed in a true heart and soul, people celebrated this day with emotions, happiness and peace. But in this 21st century the meaning and celebration is quite different. Going to a restaurant, decorating a table, booking a hotel or long journey to the himalayas in bike i

Duty, Dare and Death

"Safely, Honour and welfare of your Country come first, always and every time. The Honour, welfare and comfort of the men you command come next Your own case, comfort and safely come last always and every time."    Well said by our former Field Marshal sir. More than 90% of us wish to be a Doctor or engineer. But however, a leader leading men to upkeep the safely, honour and welfare of the country, he will be the vanguards protecting the perimeters of Hand Sea and sky of 3.3 million sqkilometers of national territory. He will be the silent sentinel’s ensuring the 12.5 billion citizens lead a peaceful, progressive and prosperous existence enjoying the six fundamental rights. But it is possible only when you join the defence services.  Only few will be allowed enter the hollowed portals of defence academy to be trained, drilled and fabricated to be fit to step across the Antim  Pankth with glory. They are few the but fearless person in this world. Defence is a rebirth, a reinca

RISK

" What is life if there's no Risk ?" In my life, in your life, infact in everyone's life there is a point at which we have to choose only one path. Either we will move on this way or we will stay this way, that is what called RISK. Is risk-taking an important part of life? I would say that it is. We need risks in our life to be stronger, as well as to grow as a person. Risk-taking is a way through which we actually examine ourselves and analyse how to overcome the obstacles that we encounter throughout our life. Taking risks is rather inevitable. We take risks from the time we begin to walk along without our parents support until we are spending our last few breath on our death bed. It is actually impossible to live life without taking a risks. So people say risk makes reputation. The day we take our first few steps, we have risk either falling on our butts or successfully accomplishing our first walk. Every morning it is a risk, we never know how our morning co

A Tour to to Scotland Of The East

Every year, we think of visiting a hilly region because in summer and monsoons there is always a weather problem. Last autumn, after our mid term and before the last term school decided to send the 10th students on a training tour. When we heard rumours about the trip so we requested the principal to confirm the tour. And finally he gave the selection order signing that only top 15 Cadets of every section will move. Though my many friends were not in the list, but I was happy that somehow I come in the top 15 of my section. I talked to parents and started packing for it. Two days later at morning 5 AM, the school bus horned and we came out with our luggage for 7 days. We reached Shillong at evening. We entered the Gorkha Regiment Centre of the Indian Army, we were given good quality room and food. Two soldiers and two officers were on our duty. Next morning we visited the local sides and then took rest. Third day we drove to upper Shillong, clean and green cantonment area. The Elepha

RUMAL

R= Rise U= Uniformly and M= March  A= Ahead with L= Loyalty  RUMAL is a very very common word we use in our daily life. We consider it as only Assamese language word. In English we say it Handkerchief but Rumal is also a well known word at various places and language apart from Assam and Assamese. Honestly the real handmade Rumal by the weavers are one of the most precious gifts and someone can offer traditionally at a cheap cost. In few places of India it is offered to the well wishers during our cultural festivals. Women specially learn to make flowers and various beautiful designs in it which makes a Rumal very beautiful and popular.  Professionally it is a dress code to have a Rumal or a Handkerchief in out pockets as maximum people takes fast foods with spoon and a Rumal is the perfect option to give a impression. And as a part of military discipline the militants are taught to keep it in their felt pockets after folding it.  However, here Rumal is something different. I am here w

Hours Are Long But Second Moves Faster

Time, bullet and spoken word can never be taken back. Once it is passed it will always leave an impact. Using time judiciously is one of the greatest qualities someone can inculcate within.  In our daily life, we have got only twenty four hours in a day. Therefore we cannot do everything in just one day. In order to manage work, social life and sleep, division of time is important. In a particular way division of time is the need. This will help the person to complete all his tasks. You should write your tasks in a schedule. Planning has to be in a way that each task gets enough time. Your hobby should have the highest priority. The second priority should studies. And the last but not the least your social life. Your social life includes family and friends. In order to live a happy and peaceful life socializing is important. Too much workload can make a person ill. So, give your mind a little rest. Spending time with family can help you with this. Moreover, the main purpose to work

Engas: The Journey from Assamese to English

Hola Folkes . English was a dream for me. I saw my cousins, nephews speaking a language soo fluently and writing awesome content which frequently get published in local daily.  This journey started few years back when I was in 5th standard. My parents motivated me to sleep well and dream about my life. Many days I slept well but then I slept keeping my eyes open, where exactly the story started.  I studied in a Govt. Of Assam L.P. school headed by my father. And after observing my good scores everyone suggested to appear in Navodaya. I started preparing soo hard for it and by that time I passed out and went to Lengeri H.S school for my further studies. I appeared in Navodaya from there but the result shocked me. I didn't find my name there. And that was the turning point of my life. I started appearing in Olympiads and scholarship exams.  In 2015 I came across a retired teacher & officer from SSG who motivated me to study well and join defense forces. I topped in my class and
